Event planner and bridal consultant, Vanessa Lane has been planning and coordinating parties, weddings, and corporate events for over eight years. After a teaching and education administration career, she worked as an event planner for a prominent law firm in downtown San Francisco. Both careers involved the coordinating of many festive and professional events. But Vanessa has had a love of organizing celebrations since she was a little girl. From tea parties and slumber parties to charity benefits, Vanessa credits her mother's shared enthusiasm for event planning, marvelously inspired themes and the joy of a good bargain for instilling in her the desire to create a magical experience for each host (and every guest!) that is well within a comfortable budget.

Vanessa is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC), and she received her training as a wedding consultant from the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants (ACPWC). In this program she gained knowledge in starting her own business, wedding planning and coordinating, venue and vendor selection, and wedding etiquette and protocol. This valuable experience also allowed her to network with other professionals which has resulted in lasting relationships that enable her to provide an even higher quality of service to her clients.

Vanessa recently married her own Prince Charming, Michael Gibson, in a small ceremony in Venice, Italy and celebrated with family and friends (and her faithful dogs, Grendel and Marlo) at a large "at home" reception in Orange County, California. She loves living in San Francisco and enjoys taking full advantage of all the city has to offer.
