My sister recently planned
a lovely wedding in Southern California for 200 guests. She
didn't hire a wedding planner because the venue provided a on-site coordinator.
As the wedding approached my
sister quickly realized that confirming orders with vendors and keeping
tabs on not one but two on-site coordinators (the first one quit one
month before the wedding!) was too much for her to handle so close to
her big day. She eventually figured out that on-site coordinators work
for the venue not the bride.
Luckily, Vanessa was willing
to step in the midst of all the chaos and emotional stress and help her out. My sister was able to breathe a sigh of relief for the first time in months.
She worked with the MANY vendors for the weeks leading up to the
wedding and was there on the wedding day to ensure all was set up just
as promised and just the way that my sister had wanted it. Although we
later learned that there were a few hitches, Vanessa was able to handle
them so smoothly that even my meticulous sister was blissfully unaware
of any mishaps.
My family and the happy couple are ever so grateful that my sister and her groom were able to relax and thoroughly enjoy their special day without having to worry about a thing. The level of professionalism, respect for my sister's dream wedding, and sincere commitment to the couple were very impressive.
